Hi friends! ???? I have a tiny story to share…

If last year someone had said to me that I’d be doing a book signing, I would have laughed (maybe while stress-eating chocolate ????). But here we are, and the reality is? I’m more thankful than I can express.

Let me tell you how this happened. A few months ago, life threw my family and me some really significant curveballs. My daughter Waverly had been suffering from crippling anxiety and gastrointestinal issues. It was heartbreaking to watch her turn from an eager student into dreading school every day. After months of doctor visits with no diagnosis, we finally discovered the cause of it all—she had developed severe anxiety after vomiting in the school cafeteria in front of her classmates. ????

She needed therapy (a slow, life-changing process), and I needed to be with her. That meant making a huge, scary decision—to take a leave of absence from work and homeschool her full-time. Financially? Not in the plan. ????

One night, while stress-scrolling through Facebook (as one does), I stumbled upon a publishing course. I’ve always liked writing, so I thought, Why not? I needed something that would let me assist others and still be present for my family. That’s how my very first book, The Anxious Child, was born. What started out as a “practice project” turned out to be something that actually resonated with other parents. And that’s when I knew—maybe I was meant to do this.

So here I am, an accidental writer, a mom on a mission, and someone who now truly believes that sometimes the worst times in life push us precisely where we need to be.

To anyone struggling, stuck, or wondering if it’s too late to attempt something different—it’s not. You never know where the next late-night Facebook scroll will take you. ????

Thank you to each of you for coming along for the ride! ❤️
